About me
I am licensed in Pennsylvania with 25 years of professional Social Work experience including 19 years providing psychotherapy services. I worked 4 years as a consultant and trainer in the Child and Family Services Department of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. As a Mental Health Officer in the US Air Force I provided individual family and couple’s counseling and individual therapy across a broad clinical spectrum. I also managed programs addressing family abuse. I am a certified addictions counselor and managed the largest military Substance Abuse Program in the Pacific region. I have also developed and taught social work classes at the community college and university level. I would say that my specialties are Mood and Behavior Management Issues, Family of Origin Issues, Relationship Issues, Anger Management Issues, and Phase of Life Issues. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have strengths that will assist you in overcoming your challenges. It takes courage to take the first steps towards the change you want.
