About me

A famous person once remarked, and I'm paraphrasing, that everyone has a book within them, and for some, that's where it should stay. This was said in the context that some people are better writers than others. However, in my 30 years of professional experience, as a therapist, I'm always amazed at the stories that are revealed, when I'm listening to a person. We each have stories within us that need to come to light, and put into words, in order to feel fully validated as a human being. I experience this process as a sacred vocation, for myself. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “It is a luxury to be understood.” However, I feel it's necessary in order to claim and be empowered to be fully who we are. My goal is to facilitate your pursuit of wholeness; whether it involves personal health issues, relationship conflict issues, struggles with attaining the relationships you desire to have, professional or academic goals or just an overall feeling of wellness.
