About me

Hi there! My name is Kerri Taylor, MS, LIMHP. I currently reside in Omaha, Nebraska. Throughout my childhood and adulthood I have lived in many parts of the country from little towns to large cities via military moves. It has been a pleasure to work with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures. For the past few years, I have been privileged to work with low income individuals specializing in trauma, domestic violence, major mental health and life skills assisting with finding hope in situations that can feel overwhelming. Some of my practical experience includes extensive volunteer work and support services for military families and individuals in transition.

Life often goes in waves. My goal is to assist you on your journey in a way you can enjoy the calm times and navigate through the periods of high tides. I am trained in many treatment modalities but tend to find the most success utilizing solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Confidentiality is of the utmost importance so that we can have a strong therapeutic bond and you feel comfortable sharing those parts of your life which you generally do not expose to the public world. I look forward to working with you!

I’ve had bad experiences with therapy in the past. Keri has been incredible. We don’t always have to dive into “problems” and we can have normal conversations like I would with a friend. I need that as much as I need to dive into trauma. She listens to what you need and offers support even when you don’t realize you need it. I feel very validated and enough. I couldn’t recommend her more.
