Kerri Vogt, LCSW
About me
I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in Mississippi with 6 years of experience working in mental and behavioral health care settings, as well as school settings from the primary to post-graduate level. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment to various life changes, parenting problems, and survivors of sexual assault/abuse. I have worked with both men and women from early childhood to middle age in both individual settings.
My therapeutic approach is to first establish a connection through a warm and inviting interaction. I respect each individual's boundaries and unique capacity to share once a secure connection is made. I respect and welcome all individuals regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identification. I recognize the whole person in their environment and my practice is influenced by family systems theory. I am also trained in TF-CBT and have training in attachment based modalities. Once connected, I will work with you to determine the best treatment plan for your unique needs.
You've already made progress in getting to this point, as it takes strength and courage to begin the search for a therapist. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I hope to work with you to reach a more fulfilled and content life.
