About me

I am a BACP registered integral counsellor in Portsmouth, UK, with over 10 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including Anxiety, Depression, Family and Relationship issues, Confidence and self esteem. I specialise in supporting Survivors/victims of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault, Loss, Grief and Bereavement.
My style of therapy is Empathic, Caring and Nurturing. I understand that counselling can be daunting and scary, so I will be led by you, my approach is from an integral combination of therapies which support the needs of the client. Counselling is not a 'one size fits all' approach, meaning you are able to work with what is most important to you now, this may be Cognitive and behavioural, Psychodynamic, person centred or inner child. I believe in treating everyone with Respect, Compassion, and Sensitivity and to Enable you to take that step toward a life you want and are in control of.
I understand the courage it takes to want to seek help and support, if you are ready to take that step with me, then I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kerry Buckley. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Kerry has been helpful in terms of listening to me, and helping me realise why I feel the way that I do. However, I did feel that I was somehow led to believe some opinions that Kerry had, and it made me feel worse than I already did. She helped me to question myself and understand why I was feeling the way I did. But ultimately this wasn’t what I needed in order to understand myself. Though she has a caring and kind manner of speaking to you, I just don’t think it’s exactly what I needed. I am grateful for the experience nonetheless.
