About me

Hello and thanks for stopping by to read about me! My name is Kevin, and I an a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I have over 25 years (where does the time go) experience helping individuals and families through all types of challenges and situations. I have worked in many different settings, including private practice and community mental health settings and college classrooms. I have been told I am easy to talk to: I also understand that every person has their own comfort level and preferences when seeking professional help. I generally implement a very laid-back style and rarely tell people what they SHOULD do. I try to focus on what people CAN do and offer options and let people decide for themselves what is best. I think therapy is like putting together a puzzle: you organize the pieces and then slowly put together the picture of what you want your life to look like. If you think I can help you sort things out, feel free to reach out. Thank you.

I've worked with a few therapists over the years (my own and my child's), and Kevin has been the most helpful. He's warm, easy to feel comfortable with, listens attentively, and when I've asked for advice he's always had clear, thoughtful,, realistic, useful things to say. I trust his judgement, and I appreciate his kindness and being so present and conscientious.

While I only have spoken to Kevin once, he was a great amount of assistance in a time of significant crisis for me.

Kevin is a very personable therapist who talks with you at your level. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with him and felt heard which allowed me to process some low times and decision making struggles. He is very open and kind. You would be well-served working with a caring person such as him.

Have tried many different therapists and Kevin has been the perfect fit for my wife and I. Very personable, understanding, and takes that extra time to make sure you have a plan that helps your specific needs. I very highly recommend him!
