About me

I am licensed as a professional counselor in New Jersey with experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, mood disorders, relationship issues, parenting problems, and ADHD.
My therapy style is opening and meeting the client where they are in their stage of change and needs. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you on your journey.
I look forward to working with you!

Kim has been such a tremendous support to me. She is compassionate, empathetic and professional and I would highly recommend her. Could not have gotten through the past couple of months without her. Kim is a GIFT!!

I always knew I needed therapy. I had a hard time finding a match, so I gave up. After the tragic loss of my son I knew I needed to try again. Better help definitely helped pair me with my perfect match. It's important to find a therapist that shares the same qualities and beliefs but also tells you what you need to hear. Kim has been a literal life saver and I don't know where I would be if I had not initiated therapy and been paired with my saving grace. I look forward to my sessions and actually feel the need to seek my therapist. I could never thank her enough.

Kim is my first therapist and I feel that she has far surpassed my expectations. She listens well, has amazing advice and actionable next steps she shares, and is incredibly understanding and nonjudgmental. I feel comfortable sharing with her and look forward to our sessions. She makes sure to check in with me midweek which I appreciate. I would highly recommend her!
