About me

Hi there, My name is kim and if u are reading this you have taken the first and hardest step towards finding empowerment and learning to love yourself .My therapy style is person centred and as such i believe that we all have inside of us the ability to achieve a better self and to love the beautiful unique person that we are, however sometimes we all need a little bit more and we may use tools from other models to enable us to reach that goal. There comes a time in all our lives where we need extra support to remember who we are and how much we have achieved, I can assist you on your journey without judgement and in complete confidence to find your true self and accept that u can achieve this goal and learn to change your way of thinking. I have experience of working with a variety of issues including depression ,anxiety, hoarding, historical child sex abuse, ptsd, grief, domestic and sexual violence . I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere closely to their ethical framework for good practice, i am empathic, honest, and non-judgemental and if i feel i can not be of benefit to you i will discuss this with you and seek a referral to ensure you receive the best plan to help you reach your goals. I wish you good luck on your journey and well done for taking the first step.

I’ve got the jackpot with Kim as my therapist. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and I feel my needs are always listened to and she knows what to say to help me understand my feelings and where they come from. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Kim, has been both professional and compassionate. She always listens to what l have to say and l feel is non judgemental. I am grateful for receiving her expertise, and knowledge. In the last few weeks, l have become a lot stronger and l am beginning to find solutions to my own problems. I understand that healing takes time, but in a short space, l have made some huge leaps. Don't get me wrong, of course there are days, l find difficult but there have been many more days where the sun has and is still shinning and for this lm thankful. Thank you Kim.

Kim has been an invaluable support through many problems I’ve needed help with, from toxic work environments, relationship issues, childhood trauma, friendship woes to general mental health issues as a result. I needed an objective view point on work/life balance conundrums and friendship and relationships struggles that I’ve recently been facing. Without fail, each time, kim has been able to very quickly distil the crux of what’s likely to be at the root of the issue, and given me highly insightful and actionable advice. Kim has a nice, gentle nature and manages to be highly professional while also being very sensitive to what your emotional needs might be at that time. I am slowly coming to terms with childhood trauma and understanding its impact on my present, while also trying not to allow it to dictate my future. I cannot recommend kim highly enough.
