About me

I am a licensed mental health and substance use disorder clinician. I have been working in the field of human services since 1998. I have worked with individuals with chronic mental illness, addictions, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, abuse, life changes, grief and loss, personality disorders, legal and criminal issues, and child protective services involvement.

I believe that every individual deserves respect and consideration for their respective problems and issues. There is no simple answer to the problems in life. What matters most is how we manage the problems by learning coping skills and empowering ourselves.

I learned evidence-based treatment approaches and use strategies and interventions based on what you present with and what you seek to accomplish.

I’ve never stuck with therapy before working with Kim. It’s been about 5 months now, and I look forward to our weekly sessions. Therapy can be hard work, but if we want to grow and learn how to navigate “life”, then therapy is key for that. I trust being honest and vulnerable with Kim. She’s a safe haven for me and I’m so grateful.

Kim was my first ever experience with therapy! I felt like she was a careful listener and kept our conversations on track and positive, with clear suggestions for how to deal with challenges that I brought up. She has a really warm energy and connects well across the interface.

Kimberly is AMAZING. I’ve only had two session with her but I already love her. I feel heard. I feel seen. She challenges me in a way to think in depth. I’m looking forward to future sessions and discussions with her. I will be sticking with her through my healing journey. 1000/10 would recommend Kimberly

I felt genuinely listened to by Kimberly. During our sessions she was professional, communicative, on time, and I would absolutely recommend her. She is supportive, kind and patient. She gently stressed the importance of accountability in doing the personal work needed for success in therapy.
