Hi! I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have over 20 years experience working in mental health (individual and group therapy) and in a hospice setting. I have experience working with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, anger, medical illness, caregiver role strain, grief, loss, relationship issues and so much more. I received my Bachelors of Science from the University of Connecticut in 1992 and my Masters of Social Work from Barry University in 2000. I am also certified in a Hospice and Palliative Social Worker.
Seeking out help is a hard first step to take when you are dealing with things that are difficult. I'm here to help you identify what areas you want to work on . I will support you and provide you with the tools that you will need to take the steps to make changes within yourself and your life to reach your goals. I provide a nonjudgmental environment where you can safety explore your feelings.
You are welcome to message me anytime through Better Help. The frequency with which you can have access to a counselor to work through day to day emotions and problem solving is extremely beneficial for most and a nice change from traditional outpatient counseling. I encourage journalizing and utilize worksheets between sessions so that you can continue to work on your personal growth in between sessions. I check my messages several times throughout the day, seven days per week. I offer messaging, live chat, phone sessions and video sessions.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I look forward to working with you!

I have really enjoyed my live chat sessions with Mrs Kimberly. It’s nice to confirm things in my life from someone who isn’t in it. I also like to hear her perspective on things.

Kimberly is truly kind and empathetic professional. She helped me a lot already, she’s a person I feel I can trust and who will never judge me.
I like all the worksheets we use in our therapy, and journaling, it’s a great reminder that just talking isn’t enough, if you truly want to change you need to actually start doing something to change your patterns of thinking and behavior.

Kim is absolutely incredible! She’s excellent at listening, but also engages you in thinking new ways. She provides lots of exercises and worksheets. Having someone who constantly works with you to dive head first into what’s the issue and making you work to find the answers you’re looking for has been life changing. If you’re wanting to really WORK to get into a better state of mind, Kim is your match! She’s got a quite a few funny stories to share too. I love getting to hear her stories so I can understand how she can relate to what I’m facing. It’s a nice change of pace from just sitting in a room with someone and talking about just yourself the whole time. It makes me feel more relaxed having a conversation back and forth. I’d give Kim a five star review across the board.

Kimberly is a grrat counselor. She understands my issues, gives me great advice, and keeps me in a stable mindset. The only problem I have is with Better Help itself. If the sessions can be an hour long that'd be great. 30 minute sessions go by too quickly.
