Kim Johnson has been a powerful ally in my quest to begin a new chapter in my life. I have utilized one-on-one talk therapy throughout my adult life to better my mental health. I have had many wonderful therapists in my lifetime however Kim is special. I don't feel like a number on a long list of clients. She genuinely cares. I have definitely grown and gone through some very difficult situations and times since I began therapy with her. I may sound like a commercial here and no, I'm not getting paid to say this...betterhelp, you have made mental health affordable and accessible. Thank you.

Kim helped me through a very tough time in my life and I am so thankful that I was able to meet her. She is a great therapist, very understanding and supportive. She has a good understanding for what is important for me in the moment and also helps me understand myself better and to have compassion for myself. There is no shame or whatever hard feelings with her and she also helps me to see my own strengths. She is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone I know.

Kimberly is attentive and insightful: she remembers even small details across sessions and, without judgement, attends to things like physical or vocal cues that indicate my mood. She asks good questions and helps me feel heard. Delighted to work with her, and look forward to each session.

As someone traumatized by another therapy experience, I was reluctant to sign up thinking is it really worth it? Am I going to have another bad experience? And the answer is YES! It’s totally worth it! My counselor Kim made me feel safe, comfortable and accepted; she created a space I can be free with my thoughts. What more can you want from a counselor she is a superhero in disguise and I am happy that I found her through BetterHelp!
