Kimberly Mena, LPC, LMHC
About me
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a deep commitment to trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care. As a decorated veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and Army, I understand firsthand how life’s most challenging experiences shape us—and how healing becomes possible when we feel safe, seen, and supported.
In my work, I help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, identity concerns, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based practices such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. I also integrate holistic and somatic strategies that support mind–body healing, including polyvagal‑informed techniques and creative, experiential interventions.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to create a space that feels both compassionate and empowering. I believe therapy should honor your lived experience, strengthen your voice, and help you reconnect with your sense of resilience and possibility. Whether you’re working through long‑standing patterns or facing something new, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you.
I currently provide telehealth services to adults across Florida and Texas, offering flexible, accessible care that meets you where you are. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings clinical expertise, genuine understanding, and a steady, supportive presence, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
