About me

I am a licensed professional counselor with more than 10 years of experience. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010 with a focus on marriage and family therapy. I currently work in a substance abuse setting which provides me the opportunity to assist clients with a range of issues. I have a background in juvenile justice, domestic violence, family therapy, anger management and mood disorders.

I like to approach therapy with the idea that the client is an expert in their own lives and has the ultimate capacity for change. Each individual is unique in relation to their life experiences, and I as a counselor serve as a facilitator and motivator. I look forward to the opportunity to help you make changes to your life to be your most productive and actualized self.

I adore Kimberly! She always makes me feel uplifted after our sessions. Her care and expertise is on full display at all times. She gives you space to feel how you are feeling, never making you feel invalidated. Would highly recommend.

My therapist is great at understanding my concerns and helping me push through them. She doesn't push, she doesn't judge and she's extremely patient. Although her schedule is pretty busy I know she's always listening and always thinking of ways to help me and it's only been a few sessions. I love that I'm able to choose the type of session for whether I'm on the go or simply not comfortable and it's all understood. I love my entire experience so far!
