While my credentials make me a therapist, I prefer to think of myself as another human being lucky to join people on their journey. You can find me sitting on the floor with kiddos, listening to music with teenagers after a rough session, and tearing up with families as I witness them grow together. I seek to learn as much as my clients are willing to share, and to create a relationship of trust and respect. Progress looks different for everyone, and we will be partners during this time. My primary specialty is individual and family therapy with adolescents, working with parents at all stages and with military partners. If you’re handling big decisions and life changes, want to learn stress tolerance and challenging negative thoughts, and want to improve your relationships, I’d love to see if we’re a good match.
Additional areas of focus: Addictions, LGBT, Family conflicts, Depression, Attachment Issues, Blended Family Issues, Divorce and Separation, Family Problems, Fertility Issues, Impulsivity, Infidelity, Military and Veterans Issues, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Postpartum Depression, Self-Harm, Sex Addiction
Clinical approaches: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing

Only reason it is not a ten is because I have only had one therapy session with Kimberly and two with better help so it’s hard to strongly agree with any opinion yet.
