I have worked with people ages 6 through senior. I can assist parents with behavioral management for children and teens, as well as family relationships issues. With adults, I use a combination of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy and emotional freedom technique (EFT). I have specialized experience in working with individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder and also neuropsychological impairment due to TBI or other conditions.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & English Literature from Cornell University. I have a Master's in Counseling from Florida State University. I obtained my Doctor of Psychology from Florida Tech with a Clinical Psychology major. I have post-graduate training in neuropsychological assessment. I also have a post doc Masters in Clinical Psychopharmacology.
My recreational interests include cooking & baking gourmet food; companion animals; organic gardening; yoga; kickboxing; and non-denominational spirituality with an active meditation practice.

I love talking with Dr. Walsh. She listens to my problems or concerns. She will help me break it down, and come up with a few ideas or solutions to try to help me. She doesn't always side with me if I am talking about conflicts with others, especially my husband.
