About me

Thank you for taking the step to creating growth for yourself and connection in a therapeutic relationship. Vulnerability, exploration, learning new skills, facing past hurts, learning to love yourself and live authentically can seem challenging. It can be. However, the brightest rewards within can happen creating endless possibilities.

I am a human who loves to learn multiple techniques, tools, activities and approaches to be able to offer a large tool box full of skills for each client. This in turn allows each client to create their own recipe to navigate life’s rhythm and walk through life the way they choose. My goal is to provide an inviting, non-judgmental space for clients to step away from the real world to focus on what is necessary for their needs, voice and growth.

My experience includes working with teens and young adults within the foster care system and living in homeless shelters. I have worked in England with clients who have experienced substance use and dependency issues. Currently, I work with women who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. My passion is helping to understand childhood trauma, attachment, relationship trauma and the ways in which we as humans are affected by life’s events. I love not only the deep sessions to create understanding, processing and relief, but also the celebratory sessions to create comfort in contentment with where a client is right now.

I have certifications in Yoga Therapy training which can be infused in therapy sessions. Along with this certification, I use modalities to include narrative therapy, IFS, Attachment theory, art and mindfulness modalities. I also incorporate grief and loss work. My goal is for therapy to go at your pace and provide as many new skills, relief, growth, body release work, understanding and empowerment you desire. We can also have a little bit of fun too! Yes, this is possible. Let’s share tears, laughs, silence, warmth, growth and being human together as you walk your way to places you desire for you.
Thank you for choosing you and I look forward to working with you.

Kristen is amazing at what she does! I cannot express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with her. She helped me process one of the most emotionally turbulent experiences I have had in my adult life and I cannot thank her enough for the tools and perspective she offered me to help me get through it all. Thank you so much!

You make me feel heard, safe, and valid in my feelings. You are amazing and have made me feel that I'm not crazy, that I'm just a woman who has been severely abused and mistreated. I feel better about myself after spending time with you.
