About me

I am a humanistic counsellor and am registered with BACP. As well as working privately, I have volunteered for various counselling organisations, including a bereavement setting for 3 years and an LGBT+ organisation.
I offer you accepting and warm support to explore different aspects of yourself. I believe that talking with someone in a non judgemental space increases awareness of how you interact with the world, others or even yourself. Anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, identity issues and loss are just some of the varying issues I have worked with. Together we can explore ways of you feeling less overwhelmed. As a humanistic counsellor, I believe that we are all uniquely different and will adapt my way of working to who you are.
I have a background in working within the health sector, specifically in a cancer setting. I have some understanding of how physical health can affect mental wellbeing. My background of working within a health sector also informs my practice as a counsellor. I am passionate about providing mental health support for those who are experiencing menopausal or hormonal changes within their bodies.
