Kirsty is great - she’s been a massive support to me

I have worked through various concerns/problems with Kirsty, and I wholly recommend her. I find Kirsty professional, empathetic, experienced and sympathetic to whichever topic we discuss. I have come a long way since commencing therapy, and I have Kirsty to thank for that.

Written on Nov 06, 2025 after therapy with Kirsty for 1 year and 1 month on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, parenting issues, anger management, and coping with life changes

I got in touch with Betterhelp as I found myself stuck in a work and relationship situation. Having never attended therapy before, I didn't know what to expect and was worried about being judged, but Kirsty was patient and pragmatic in her approach. She helped me to the understand the patterns which led to the situation, which made it easier for me to come to terms with and then move forward with a new approach - with what felt like a huge weight lifted. I have since applied some of the communication skills I learnt to the other areas of my life and found renewed positivity. Most of all I really valued her kindness and patience when it was difficult to discuss.

She has been so welcoming but with a professional manner. Full of good exercises and homework. I highly recommend her.

Kirsty is highly experienced and is one of the best therapists. She works in a dynamic proactic way, knowing exactly what type of support you need and using appropriate methods to help you pinpoint issues/problems for resolution. She is genuine, kind and knowledgeble. She has explained to me how I can turn negative thoughts, patterns and choices into more positive ones. At a time of life when I felt like I was at rock bottom, she lifted me up with patience and skill. She has really helped me and I can't thank her enough.

We have only just begun our journey together. Two sessions isn't much at all but in those 2 sessions I've felt kirsty's sincerity, compassion and true knowledge of her subject.
It's still early days but I believe kirsty will help me unlock the buried emotions I've tried to bury over nearly 6 decades.
