I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana with 12 years of experience as a clinician. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma/PTSD and ADHD.
Having a safe and comfortable therapeutic relationship is key to successful treatment. I hope we can achieve that together. My style is relaxed, supportive, and non-judgmental. I believe in meeting people where they are at. Therefore, you choose what is important to you and I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your specific needs. Some specific approaches I use regularly are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused.
It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help. If you are ready to take the next step, I am here ready to support and empower you on your journey towards a happier and more fulfilling life.

Krisi is great at making me feel comfortable and relaxed when we chat which helps me to open up more honestly without self-censoring which I used to do often. I appreciate how open she is with me as well, creating a welcoming setting even though we’re virtual. I appreciate her kindness and flexibility when needing to adjust with my freelancer schedule based on my students’ needs.

This is my first experience with counseling and I was somewhat nervous. Krisi has made me feel very comfortable and has helped me put many things in my life into perspective as well as given me the tools to manage my anxiety. She communicates well when she needs to move appointments around and does her best to be flexible to my schedule as well.

Krisi and I have been working together for a few months and she has helped me immensely! Being able to discuss my issues; life, family, and work helps me focus on what I can control and what I cannot. Krisi gives me support, positive feedback, and an outlet when I am feeling frustrated and unable to discuss my feelings with others. I am very grateful to Kris and for having access to a wonderful mental health professional. I would recommend Better Help to anyone who needs someone to talk to and for support during difficult times!
