Welcome! I am so glad you're here.
A safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment is key to bringing about the change clients are seeking in their lives and in their relationships. Creating that kind of environment in counseling is my primary goal. Additionally, I bring a breadth of training and experience that allows me to utilize a blend of approaches to counseling dealing with a wide range of concerns. My approach is eclectic—tailored to each client's unique needs.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important element of a helpful counseling experience. As such, I am actively engaged with clients and believe strongly in a collaborative and respectful relationship. Your issues, concerns, personal history, and worldview will inform our work together. My theoretical orientation is integrative and strength based—and I will strive to provide a safe and consistent relationship with you while challenging you to examine how you relate with the world around you.
I hold a Master's Degree in Urban Studies, Policy Analysis and a Master's of Social Work Degree from Southern Connecticut State University. In my clinical experience I have counseled individual adults, groups, couples, and families. I have worked in a community counseling center, private practice setting, and a long-term care facility. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida, and a Licensed Certified Social Worker, Clinical, (LCSW-C) in the State of Maryland.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. We all need to feel connected and heard. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

I honestly recommend Krista. She was my 4th therapist I have tried and she helped me a lot. She listens, support and help understand or work on particular problem. The best therapist I have had so far!
She’s so compassionate and supportive!
Krista is just a good person. She's supportive but also helps me find solutions to problems. I'm extremely happy I was matched with her.
Krista is someone I depend on for my counselling needs. It took me sometime to get familiar with the systems and it took sometime for her to understand my life. However, I have opened up to her the most in my life. I would strongly recommend Krista and have already referred couple of friends that needed the support.
Krista is the best. She's assertive yet kind in her approach. It's exactly what I needed. She's really a great support system.
Krista listens and tries to relate to my problems and is always available to offer solutions and support.
Krista is a wonderful counselor. She really understands my needs. She helps me learn how to find and use the tools I need in my life. She is very professional and has a lot of professional insight.
Straight forward, no sugar coating.
I have been working with Krista for nearly a year. I have been able to maintain my mental health through her consistent support. As time progressed, I've been faced with series of unexpected events and life changes. She is a very clever person. Her balance between empathy and perseverance have kept me focused on my goals without burning out. She has stayed with me as I go through life and overcame obstacles. As I maneuver through difficulties, Krista has made the experience a little bit easier, less lonely, and something of a challenge to overcome rather than a reason to be stagnant. I'm grateful for her professional skills and long-term partnership I have been fortunate to be able to build. Living this past year mindfully the best I can made me see my strengths and things I need to work on clearer. The resilience I've gained and Krista helped me realise became a quality of mine I'm very proud of. I believe the skillset and tolerance I'll continue to gain living mindfully in my 20s will be an asset that will help me tackle any issues that come up in the future. Krista really understands my values and aspirations. She encourages me to pursue my passion and chase my dream no matter the many, long-lasting, face-scrunching hiccups along the way. I'm also thankful for Better Help. This is only possible online as I move and travel a lot.
Krista is brilliant. She is supportive, kind and helpful. She really cares about her clients and offers effective strategies that I can use on a daily basis. She is flexible and responds to all my messages, taking great care to be supportive and helpful. I would recommend Krista to anyone. I have never felt so satisfied with a counselor and she has truly helped me.
Best therapist I have ever had. I feel like I can share anything with her, I don't feel the need to hide anything. She is very supportive and also helps me get actual results!
Krista is amazing. She has helped me tremendously. Working with her my life has improved in so many ways. She is a thoughtful listener who really engages and remembers even small details that I forget sometimes. I strongly recommended her!
Krista has been incredibly lovely and supportive, while also being honest and not holding back which is 100% what you want from a professional. She genuinely cares and wants to help, and I appreciate the regular check-ins that she does when I haven't had a chance to write and check-in myself. Would definitely recommend her!
Krista is the best therapist I’ve ever had by FAR. I’ve never felt more comfortable with someone to talk about my problems with. I have medical issues and sometimes it’s hard to schedule when we meet due to it but she always helps me figure it out and always reminds me in between sessions that she is always there for me, which is not something anyone in my life has told me. I would recommend Krista to anyone. She’s amazing and has helped change my life
Krista warmly does what one of these questions asked, she supports me. She allows me to take a step back and see the whole picture before I make big decisions.
She has been very helpful. I'd easily recommend her to others in need.
Krista has been extremely helpful and patient with me as she goes through my troubles and worries step by step. She will provide a listening ear that is non-judgmental and even tries to understand from you point of view. I really appreciate her helping me sort out my emotions and concerns and honestly, I grateful to have the opportunity to be matched with her.
Krista is a great therapist. She strikes just the right balance of professionalism and compassion. She has honestly been a life-saver at times when I have been in a panic. I can tell she reads my messages and pays attention, because her responses are always very thoughtful and warm. And she offers lots of good information and practical CBT tools for depression and anxiety as well. I highly recommend her.
Krista has been so good at addressing my needs and helping me in my relationships and with my grief. I’d recommend her!
