Krista Zohorsky, LPC
I would like to start by congratulating you on taking this first step toward making meaningful change for your wellbeing. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to seek help and make changes.
I am a licensed professional counselor that has 3 years of working in the mental health field. I have worked with individuals of all ages from varying walks of life with serious mental health issues, depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, ADHD, and more.
My primary counseling approach is based on creating a warm and safe place for you to unload the burdens you carry, work together to identify what is working and what's not, and figure out ways to move toward healing. I believe people's overall wellness includes every area of their life: mental, physical, relational, and spiritual. As your counselor, I want to come alongside you to work toward YOUR goals and help you be the healthiest version of yourself. Together, we will work on taking a look at how your self-talk is shaping your view of your experiences. We will work to strike the balance of figuring out practical steps you can take, while also looking at how your internal dialogue is helping or hurting your overall wellbeing.
Regardless of where you are, what you have done, or what has been done to you, I hope that you will continue in this counseling journey and invest the time and energy into your healing - you are worth it! I look forward to working with you and empowering you as we navigate your journey to a healthier you!

Krista is absolutely amazing. She always carefully listens to the issue at hand and is able to easily put herself in your shoes to validate how you feel but then is able to help you question your own thinking and see issues in a different light. She is present and mindful and is has always been responsive and accommodating.

Krista is great. She makes me think about how I can sold some of the problems I am having and gives me multiple solutions I can use. She’s very supportive and doesn’t judge.
