Kristin Bowen, LMFT
About me
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, supported, and accepted exactly as you are. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you can explore life's challenges, process difficult emotions, and openly discuss the experiences that have shaped you. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I am committed to helping you move toward healing and growth at a pace that feels right for you.
I have spent five years working with adolescents and families in an inpatient setting, supporting individuals through some of their most challenging moments. This experience has strengthened my passion for helping people navigate emotional pain, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting.
I understand that talking about difficult experiences from the past can feel overwhelming. Together, we will build a foundation of trust and create a space where those conversations can happen with compassion, curiosity, and care. I strive to help clients feel empowered to share their stories, gain deeper insight into themselves, and move toward lasting change.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, listening to music, and drawing. These activities help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, creativity, and meaningful connection.
Seeking support takes courage, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and well-being.
