About me

Hi, My name is Kyle and I attended West Chester University and received my Master in Social Work, and afterward became a Licensed Clinical Social . I have three years experience and am interested in working collaboratively with clients to create the best versions of themselves. As far as my background, I have experience working primarily with persons experiencing struggles through many forms of trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem & confidence, relationship issues, anger management, and emotional issues. My treatment approach is person centered, meaning the client is in charge of his or her own goals and can direct treatment while I help them in doing so. Additionally, I am strengths based by focusing on clients strengths to assist them in achieving their own goals. I believe I can help people through working alongside them, offering active listening, being empathetic, and attuned to their experiences while meeting people "where they're at" in getting them to accomplish their individualized, realistic goals. I'm excited to work alongside people in helping them through their personal challenges, and am excited in creating lasting change.

I have been working with Kyle for two years. Very sad about him leaving the platform. But he’s made this experience absolutely wonderful for me. He is kind, caring, and really understands you. He asks you questions in a thought provoking manner, really helping you get to the bottom of things and gain a better understanding of why you feel how you do. I have to be honest I was skeptical about BetterHelp and in addition, wasn’t sure about having a male therapist, but my sessions with Kyle have been amazing. I have seen many different therapists over the years and was struggling to find one who fit, but Kyle’s style so far is perfect for what I need. He’s kind, empathetic, and a really good listener. I feel heard in my sessions and appreciate the affirmation. I do a lot of self-introspection and talk psychology with friends, but I feel like I make more progress and am able to go deeper with Kyle — certain things start clicking and I see how pieces of the puzzle that make up my life are related. It’s really cool! And with that said, he isn’t like the other therapists that were giving me advice or their opinion on whatever is going on in my life. He lets me lead the way and we set goals for our sessions together - which really help me feel like I’m working towards something and will be able to soon see progress made. This is long - but to cut to the chase - yes, I would definitely recommend working with Kyle!
