**Currently only available for weekday evening telehealth appointments.**
I specialize in disordered eating and eating disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive behaviors, complex trauma, body focused concerns, and identity exploration (i.e. gender, sexuality, etc). I work from a trauma-informed lens and my approach to therapy is holistic and client-centered. I aim to create an accepting and affirming space that encourages personal reflection, growth, and self-empowerment. I invite the whole person into the room, including those parts of ourselves we may not fully understand or enjoy. I offer ways to explore the self with curiosity and compassion.
I believe that the mind and body work together as one, and that when we become more attuned to our bodies, there is vast potential for new insight and a deeper connection to our innate wisdom. I enjoy integrating therapeutic techniques to meet individual client needs and may incorporate traditional talk therapy, somatic and mindfulness tools such as guided imagery and breathing techniques, experiential activities, and creative exploration in our sessions.
I also believe that collaboration is essential to the therapeutic process: my role is not to lead, but to walk with you in moving towards greater understanding of yourself and your desired change. It takes great courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps in seeking support. I look forward to working with you on your journey.
