Lacresha "Cresha" Collins, LMFT
About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over 5 years of hands-on clinical experience, and more than a decade of lived experience walking with people through real struggles. My work is grounded in serving diverse and often underserved communities, particularly urban populations and the LGBTQIA+ community.
I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, identity struggles, parenting challenges, and career transitions. I also work with trauma survivors and those who’ve experienced emotional abuse—helping people break cycles, reclaim their voice, and build healthier ways of relating.
My therapy style is warm, real, and interactive. I believe in treating every client with respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. You’ll never find stigmatizing labels in my sessions—we work together in a safe space where you can show up fully as yourself. My approach blends cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, humanistic, and rational-emotive therapy, but I always tailor treatment to fit your story, your background, and your goals.
Seeking help is not a weakness—it’s a sign of strength. If you’re ready to create real change, I’m here to empower you with tools, insight, and support for the journey.
I look forward to working with you.

My therapist is probably one of the greatest people in the world. She has helped me on my journey so much more than I can imagine. She really has been a godsend

Cresha has been a great addition to my life and process of understanding myself and the world around me. I had to pause for a little while because of financials, but i missed therapy so much, i would say i looked forward to coming back thanks to no one other than Cresha. She is why i looked forward to coming back, and look forward to what the future holds because of being back. So far she has helped make a healing/understanding journey feel smoother instead of rough, than it ever has made sense in 15 years.

She's an amazing therapist for me, very relatable and respectful and a good conservator. I recommend her to anyone that is just starting out, she knows how to break the ice and get you going.

Cresha has been amazing. She listens and offers valuable advice that helps you learn your patterns to help break them. And she validates the moments you question yourself with understanding.

Amazing. Tells me exactly what I need to hear the way I need it without falling into the trap of telling me what I want to hear
