I am a South Carolina native who after serving my country in the U.S. Air Force, completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wichita State University, a M.S. in Family Therapy from Friends University, and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Kansas.
I have spent over 15 years working in the mental health industry in different roles and over 10 years as a clinician. I have provided mental health services within public school settings, for youth in the foster care system, for active duty military service members, for veterans through the VA hospital, as well as for individuals, groups, couples and families within private practice, both in-person and virtually. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, PTSD, grief, communication problems, conflict management, and those navigating microaggressions.
My clinical style is anchored in understanding your story, being invited into your world, identifying your goals, and walking alongside you on your journey. My approach includes supportive, solution-focused, intergenerational, strategic, structural, and process models of therapy.
I am a resource and tool here to assist you along your path, process, and progress.

He is very open minded and puts things out there for me in a way I understand highly! I recommend him
So far Larry Bell Jr had been great. And if I haven’t reached out in a few days he checks in with me or sends me something to take a look at that gives me more to think about.
Mr. Larry has helped me by giving me things to think about exercises to help me better myself. I appreciate that he consistently checks on me when it's been a while since we've last spoken.
He had helped me greatly feel better about my personal issues.
This counseling with Larry has been like a touchstone. Traditional counseling one on one has been helpful but when you have someone there online that you can vent how you feel and get a response without waiting 2 weeks to see the counselor again is so incredibly helpful! I’ve had more insight in a few weeks then I would meeting my counselor every two weeks for a month! So thankful for this and I’ll recommend using online therapy to my friends. Some have a hard time going to an appointment and discussing issues. This is a great way for
People to start figuring out issues when they’re thinking about them instead of saving up those feelings for your hour appt every 2 weeks. Larry, thank you! You’ve been very helpful so far and I appreciate it so much!
Larry is caring and after even our first thirty minute session, I found him extremely helpful.
