I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with the dying and bereaved. Since 2015, I have been accompanying families facing the death of a child on their journey of love and loss. Could not have chosen a better therapist! I have tried 8 therapists on betterhelp, all of who were pretty mediocre. But Dr. McLaughlin is amazing - she’s so down-to-earth, thinks outside the box and is exactly what I was looking for! I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for a therapist :)

We have had 2 sessions so far. She comes across as an active listener with good grasp of the issues at hand, and some useful tips and homework to try out. Her professional background proves useful in understanding some of the background chronic issues. Her first recommendation for reading was spot on! Looking forward to making progress together in the future-- I have no reservations at all about her and would recommend her for others to try for a good fit
