Dr. Latasha Rivers, LCSW, LISW-CP
About me
Safety…structure…hope…acceptance. Is this what you seek? Therapy is a courageous feat for anyone - and you’ve already taken a challenging step if you’re looking at this page!
Throughout my career I have treated clients with PTSD (strong emphasis on veterans), trauma and abuse, faith, spiritual crises, addictions, family conflicts, self esteem, and more. I believe that successful therapy starts with a dynamic helping relationship and should be a deeply educational journey (for both of us).
I am licensed in South Carolina and Tennessee, with over 25 years of practice experience. My approach is transdiagnostic, drawing judiciously from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, existential, interpersonal, exposure-based, and emotionally-focused elements.
We will discover what works for you.
If your Christian faith journey matters in your treatment, you will find safety and a spirit of gentleness here.
