My therapist has gotten me through some really dark periods in my life. My husband’s cancer diagnosis, the empty nest syndrome, and other life situations. She has helped me to see how my child hood has shaped how I react to life situations. And that has been a blessing to me, because it has allowed me to change some things in my life that was unhealthy. I am now more aware when I revert back to negativity and then I have to work my way back peace. My Therapist is very caring, patient, and she makes me laugh at times. But most of all now I can examine my self and see life and situations from a healthy lens.

LaTravia seen me, listened to me and guided me through this portion of my healing journey with such love, kindness and grace!

I was challenged, held accountable, given grace, and celebrated on my brightest day and most importantly during what I defined as my darkest hours!

I was always being affirmed, encouraged and supported! Given reality checks when necessary and it was always done with a kind heart and understanding ear.

Each session I was welcomed with open arms! I never felt judged! My boundaries , and spirituality were respected through and through.

Every time we met it felt like I was on a FaceTime call with my Auntie giving me the game on life, mental, physical, emotion, and spiritual wellness!

Of course I welcomed and wanted this type of relationship with my therapist so as she made me comfortable to set the tone of the relationship I wanted with her I believe it’s safe to say I made her comfortable to be open and free for us to both to have such a free flowing, authentic and organic connection!

She’s adaptable, mindful, a great listener, and truly a divine guidance!

Healing takes a community & LaTravia for me was my community and I hope she’ll become yours as too!
