About me

Welcome to BetterHelp!!

My name is Latrice Stowe and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in children and family services, from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York City in 2006. I have worked in several different settings with children, adults, and families who have encountered a variety of personal issues such as trauma/abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, family problems, medical diagnosis, relationship and parenting issues and more.

Over the past 15 years, one of the most important aspects I have learned as a clinician is the importance of a trusting relationship. It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable and share your personal struggles with someone that you do not know. However, I believe that growth in self can flourish from our most vulnerable and difficult times. I believe in the power of grace, benevolence and the capacity for every person to heal. My treatment approach focuses more towards psychotherapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and solution focused therapy. I am a very warm, caring and genuine person. I believe in treating everyone with respect, being non-judgmental, open minded, and a great listener.

It would be my honor if you selected me to help you on this journey. I am here to support. I am here to listen. I am here for you to be heard. I am here to offer recommendations. I am here to let you know that you are worthy and can get through this!
