Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Laura Goergen. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I really like how Laura started our process with an intake form, it makes online counseling feels very professional. She gives me great resources and I feel better after our video conversations.
10/10 recommend she is kind and attentive. Good listener and very helpful.
Laura is a kindred spirit and very open minded which is what I’ve been looking for in a therapist. In the past, in-person therapists can best be described as a judgy aunt and a hip millennial, and were fine people, but not people I could truly reveal my challenges to. I’m very pleased to have found Laura and actually look forward to our sessions. I also love the book she recommended and greatly appreciate how accessible she is! 5 stars.
Laura is insightful and conversational. She is incredibly approachable. She keeps my concerns in mind but doesn't push a topic if she senses that I'm not ready to talk about it at the time.
I began therapy because I needed to talk to someone about my marriage and my family life. I was paired with Laura Goergen for therapy and I couldn't have gotten a better match.
Laura really listens to her clients and gives practical and useful advice and guidance. Each session had what I called "a golden nugget". A piece of advice or helpful strategy to help me navigate problematic areas of my life.
Laura is very relatable and down to earth. I am at such a better place in my life right now because of my work with her.
Very receptive and thoughtful. Felt like I was being heard and although some of my issues don’t have a quick fix, it was nice to feel like someone was caring and on my side. Recommend her for anyone needing some help with their mental health.
She is very empathetic and makes you feel very welcomed and validates your concerns.
Laura really is in tune with what I am struggling with and offers great resources to help me process things and get back on track. She makes sure to reach out if she hasn’t heard from me in a while and is quick to respond when I need her!
Laura listens to everything I have to say, and responds with honesty, integrity and compassion. We’re all going through life, and sits nice to talk to someone so understanding.
Laura knew exactly how to help me and get me to open up about the reason I joined BetterHelp. Her suggested “to do’s” for me were incredibly helpful while I worked on my overall mental health. I would recommend her for anyone that has gone through any sort of trauma, stress or career difficulties. Even if you don’t have either of those she is a well-rounded counselor that I believe would do her best to help you!
Laura is an excellent listener in session and she also makes useful recommendations. I enjoy the book suggestions that she has given me.
