About me
I am a Clinical Social Worker and Life Coach. I’m licensed as an LCSW in North Carolina and North Dakota, with 9 years of experience working as a Psychotherapist I've worked with a diverse demographic of clients, to include working with families, specializing in grade school children teenagers, and young adults. I've also worked with clients with a myriad of diagnoses, such as anxiety, depression, ADD, ODD, relationships and adjustment issues. I possess years of experience with military service members and their families, here in the U.S. and abroad.
My approach to counseling is to meet the client where they are. I'm welcoming, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I look at the whole picture to include a client's environment and support systems to better assess the client’s needs and goals. I utilize various Evidence Based Practices and interventions, to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address depression and anxiety, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Problem Solving Therapy to address coping skills and develop problem solving strategies. Your treatment plan will be specifically designed with you for successful goal achievement. Making a decision for therapy is one that requires strength and courage. You did it! A wonderful woman, and a spectacular therapist. Friendly, and supportive yet direct, and to the point. Helped me figure out more about myself in 45 minutes than I’d ever known.
