I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including alcoholism/addiction, depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also counsel many people who have chronic illness or disability, experienced physical trauma, domestic violence, or emotional/psychological abuse. My counseling style is holistic and interactive. My approach to therapy is personalized for each client. Together we will explore theoretical options and combine aspects from multiple approaches to create a winning combination for you. I especially enjoy interventions that are creative and that delve below the surface, such as Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Existential Therapy. Let reality be exactly what it is - your property to build your best truth!

Therapy is one of life’s most thrilling adventures. Courageous people seek out healing and self-awareness. Every person who enters therapy and then continually engages with their therapist is fundamentally remarkable. To know thyself is to learn thyself. Lauren is exactly what I need/needed in a therapist. She meets you exactly where you are and perfectly uses her breadth of knowledge as a mental health professional in concert with her empathetic and receptive delivery and reception to make your session a conversation with an actual person. She has an immense ability to get in there and help you identify all the weeds so you can start clearing them out. She is a no bullshit amazing therapist. Highly recommend!

Lauren is my second therapist, and I'm SO happy I made the switch. She is amazing! She really makes me feel supported and validated. She has brought a completely new perspective to the things I've been through. She knows what she's doing and I HIGHLY recommend her!!

Lauren is absolutely amazing. Validates me when I’m needing it, and pushes back when I need that. She’s been absolutely amazing!

Lauren has been very helpful in providing a hyper-logical person like myself understand and process my emotional side. It became clear by the end of the second session that she was adapting her methods to fit my unique mental framework of the world.

I appreciated this, because with my previous therapist (who I left) - I felt like I was being squeezed into a cookie-cutter one-size-fits-all approach to solving problems that were unique to me and my life. I plan to continue working with Lauren and would recommend her to other high-stress, high-pressured career-oriented people.

Lauren is wonderful!! She is funny, smart, and respectful! She listens to me, gives me the hard truths in a way that I can accept, and supports me through challenging decisions and emotions. She also works wonderfully with how I learn and process, assigning me small homework assignments to help keep me involved and thinking between sessions!! By far the best therapist I've had!

Lauren has an amazing way of weaving the comfort of chatting with therapy that feel a lot like talking to a friend. A friend with a wide array of knowledge on how I might better myself. I wish I hadn't waited so long to find someone like her to help me through these tough times.
