I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Denver and have practiced in the Front Range for over seven years. I have worked as a substance abuse counselor providing recovery treatment to adults and adolescents in intensive recovery. I have extensive experience as a high-school and community mental health therapist and have provided mental health treatment and gained in-depth experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, disassociation, identity issues surrounding race and gender, and other general life issues. I believe we all have the ability to grow and change, and those abilities look different in all of us on an individual level; I specialize in cooperating with you in your journey in unlocking your own inner strength and using it towards mental wellness.
Therapy with me is a collaborative effort, I prefer to facilitate a space where the client feels they can generate the most efficacy. I have a wide array of experience in DBT mindfulness, art therapy, motivational Interviewing, trauma work, talk therapy and exploring deeper unconscious behaviors. I specialize in getting you closer to your own inner strength. I appreciate the journey and fear that comes with finding the right therapist.
