About me

My name is Lesley, I am from Los Angeles, California. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT since 2015. My treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe individuals have the ability to change behaviors daily and in therapy the focus is on helping find solutions to move forward with life goals. I have experience working with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, grief and loss, as well as phase of life transitions including finding a new job, a new career, entering retirement, or adjusting to a new role in life. In therapy, the first steps are to learn about self care, coping skills, setting short and long term goals, and learning boundary setting skills, as well as positive communication skills. By setting and working toward goals, individuals learn they are capable of reaching goals.

I am very happy to have found someone who listens and understands so well. Lesley is kind, funny, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Her questions are thought provoking and allow me to process, without judgment towards myself, even after our session. I'm hopeful to find some closure to some deep seeded trauma.
