Leslie Jones, LMHC
About me
I feel that therapy is about building a trusting relationship with a person, helping them outline what they're looking for, and finding a way to get there. I have a master's degree in counseling and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana.
I have experience working with specific diagnoses, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more. More often, though, I work with those who just have "problems," as everyone does at times. Emotional instability, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship struggles, addiction, career exploration, anger management, and sexual dysfunction are just a few such problems. I feel it is my duty to "work myself out of a job" - I want to help you build the tools and support network to reach your goals and sustain your progress with as much or as little support as you need.
Basically, you tell me what you're looking for, and we'll work together to get you there!

I’ve been working with Leslie for years now. She’s a excellent therapist. She’s always available to talk and always checks in with me if she hasn’t heard from me in a bit. She’s helped me through some of the toughest times in my life and I wouldn’t be where I am mentally today without her.

Leslie is more than just a therapist. She’s friendly. She accepting. She is someone who will listen to you but respectfully challenge you to think. To think about what you’re looking for or what you’re wanting. Without realizing it I found these challenges are what are giving me the answers. She is the guide to helping me find the answers. Huge fan and I would never want someone else to talk with!

Leslie has helped me in so many ways even through just a couple sessions. It has felt so nice to have someone that I feel is genuinely interested in my issues and won't judge me for them. Someone I know that won't love me no matter what like a family member. She has helped me analyze things. Challenged me to keep expressing my feelings. I really appreciate her and would recommend her
