Liberty Powell, LCSW
About me
If you've ever been told you're too much — too sensitive, too intense, too complicated — I'm here to offer a different message: you’re not broken. You’re responding to a world that hasn’t always known how to hold you.
I specialize in working with people who’ve lived through hard things — trauma, anxiety, grief, burnout, identity struggles, chronic invalidation — and are ready for something deeper than surface-level solutions. Many of my clients are insightful, resilient, and deeply feeling individuals who’ve often felt misunderstood or dismissed — even in past therapy.
My approach is warm, direct, and deeply affirming. I don’t believe in quick fixes, but I do believe in healing that makes sense in real life. Whether you need to slow down and process, untangle patterns that keep repeating, or just have a space where your pain doesn’t have to be minimized — I’m here for that.
I use a mix of evidence-based tools (like CBT, trauma-informed care, parts work, and mindfulness) and intuitive clinical insight to tailor therapy to you. Most importantly, I work hard to create a space where you can be honest, messy, unfiltered, and still met with deep respect.
If you're ready to reclaim your voice, reconnect with your truth, and rebuild a life that actually feels like yours — I’d be honored to walk with you.
Would you like a version that’s just slightly more buttoned-up for even safer first impressions while still keeping your vibe? Or do you want me to go even bolder and more you?

Liberty is the first therapist in years that has actually helped me through a lot of trauma. She’s helped me dig deeper and be able to find out a lot of things about myself that I didn’t even know but needed to. And with that brings peace and comfort to my mind and for the first time in a long while I don’t feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders.

Liberty was very transparent but also super easy to work with. She’s a go with the flow kinda gal who listens and doesn’t put any pressure on you to speak or have a list of tasks to complete. It was very freeing to have the time with her
