Linda Banks, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than eight years of experience providing mental health services in community-based settings. I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic, and life backgrounds, helping them navigate a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, and career-related stress. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced emotional abuse, trauma, and other adverse life events.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, compassion, and understanding. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I recognize that each person's journey is unique, and I tailor treatment plans to meet each client's individual needs, goals, and strengths.
Seeking support takes courage, and choosing to invest in your emotional well-being is an important step toward positive change. Whether you are facing personal challenges, navigating life transitions, or seeking greater balance and fulfillment, I am committed to supporting and empowering you throughout the process.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and well-being.
