Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey and have more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University, specializing in Children and Families. I work with children, adolescents and adults and have experience treating individuals experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and family and life stressors. I have been working in an outpatient mental health practice for over 10 years and in the past have provided in-home therapy to children in the foster care system. My approach is person-centered and I incorporate cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques. Linda has the right mix of compassion and professionalism. She is timely with her responses.
Linda is very insightful and understanding. She has a great way of making me feel like my feelings are validated but making me come up with action plans on how to avoid future negative reactions. She is a great listener and helpful to me on my journey.
I've only spent a few sessions with Linda, but I am pleased with the rapport we are building. She is good listener and is gentle and has a calming presence, without seeming aloof.
