Hi! My name is Linda Karen Empfield. I have been a licensed clinical mental health counselor for over 20 years. I have extensive experience working with many different diagnoses, including but not limited to, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Domestic Violence, and Codependency to name a few. I am very proud of all the many people I have had the opportunity to counsel and help them to reach positive outcome goals in their lives. I strive to provide the highest quality care, utilizing evidence- based treatment modalities to help individuals in gaining awareness, and to learn the necessary skills, unique to their own life story and situation, in rising above barriers that have inhibited them from reaching their goals.

Linda has been beyond a consummate professional and caring provider, she has been a superhero in my story. Truly. She has helped me navigate the most complex crises of my life to now, and helped me make sense of the most poignant experiences in my past to understand how they impact my present and future. In detail. When I look at myself now versus when I started meeting with Linda, I have a significantly better understanding of myself, the one that experiences and the one that is narrative, and a much larger, and more well built set of tools to better navigate life with. There has been a coherency to the themes we talk about in a way that beckons progress working through traumas. And she has always been completely understanding of where I am at and how I am showing up, even if that means a last minute cancellation. Linda approaches every situation with compassion and a deep breadth of knowledge, and I genuinely have, and have continued to, feel like a bigger and better version of myself since I began meeting with her. I can’t recommend her enough.

Linda is great. She’s directive and teaches me each session. I enjoy working with her and although it has only been a short amount of time feel that I have already benefited from sessions with her.
