After earning a dual degree in mental health and substance abuse treatment, I began to work with clients who were recovering from opioid abuse and co-occurring disorders. This gave me the unique capacity to help clients not only with addiction, but also trauma, stress, depression, low self-confidence, guilt & shame, anger, and anxiety among many other issues. In addition to general counseling services, I am seasoned in working with process addictions such as shopping, video gaming, Internet, exercise, gambling, and sex and love addictions.
I have worked with many clients in the LGBTQIA community and value diversity for others and myself. I have the knowledge and skills to work with clients who struggle with sexual identity and help emotionally work through many issues that arise as a result of sexual trauma, grief or dysfunction. I also work with many clients who open and/or non-monogamous relationships. I believe that acceptance and empowerment is the foundation of this work.
I use my accumulated skills to help you identify what is holding you back and how your past helps you identify your strengths to achieve the life you want. I can use a variety of approaches to fit your needs.

Linda is very responsive and proactive. She asks me how I'm doing when she knows I have a stressful situation coming up or recently finished. Having a professional reenforce what friends are telling me has been very reassuring and has allowed me to trust the people around me.

I am hoping that communicating via messages will work until I am able to talk one on one with Linda again (once my son goes back to school).
I take her advice to heart and just knowing that she is there and responds so quickly to me is a relief.

Linda is such a pure and nice person. I would actually love to send her a gift if I was ever able to. She is that one friend who will always listen to you, and even though it is her job, you really just zone out and forget because of how easy the conversation flows. I will say so far I've had excellent experience with her. I also cannot believe that in 3 months I'll be having my 1 year anniversary starting with Betterhelp and Linda. And I would love to thank her for her patience and kindness as I see it is really her and not just a fake act.

Linda has been a lifesaver these past two years I've been with her. She's helped me come a long way from where I was, and now I feel confident in my skin, and able to move through adversity without panicking about the unknown.
