About me

After earning a dual degree in mental health and substance abuse treatment, I began to work with clients who were recovering from opioid abuse and co-occurring disorders. This gave me the unique capacity to help clients not only with addiction, but also trauma, stress, depression, low self-confidence, guilt & shame, anger, and anxiety among many other issues. In addition to general counseling services, I am seasoned in working with process addictions such as shopping, video gaming, Internet, exercise, gambling, and sex and love addictions.

I have worked with many clients in the LGBTQIA community and value diversity for others and myself. I have the knowledge and skills to work with clients who struggle with sexual identity and help emotionally work through many issues that arise as a result of sexual trauma, grief or dysfunction. I also work with many clients who open and/or non-monogamous relationships. I believe that acceptance and empowerment is the foundation of this work.

I use my accumulated skills to help you identify what is holding you back and how your past helps you identify your strengths to achieve the life you want. I can use a variety of approaches to fit your needs.

Linda, is a very admirable and magnificent therapist. You sometimes even forget that she is one that the way you converse is quite casual and the whole story gets out there instead of like a public talk where you filter out the dirty talk. I always look forward to my conversations with her and always prepared of what I want to talk with her about, because I get so zoned in that I go over our time limit. So that really shows that I enjoy being with her and time passes quite fast, that to be looking at the clock every 5 minutes to wait for the session to finish. It's more like looking at the clock every 5 minutes to make sure you still have enough time.
