About Me

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana with three years of post-graduate experience. I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Indiana University and have more extensive training in motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy as well as being a certified yoga instructor. My work-experience thus far has brought me to be most experienced in working with individuals who struggle with interpersonal traumas, abuse histories, PTSD, depression, anxiety and personality related disorders.

I believe my laid-back and compassionate personality reflect in my treatment approaches. I believe building a strong client-therapist relationship is essential in providing good therapy and take the time to develop this relationship. I commonly use interventions guided by cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness/grounding techniques. Treatment should fit each persons individual needs and I will work with you to develop goals and work to achieve them!

Lindsay has walked with me through my darkest hours. I think she is one of the best therapists I have ever had. She is a wonderful counselor and has an amazing knowledge bank. I'm learning new things every time I speak to her. And her knowledge has been able to get me many answers for my odd questions and such. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Great listener.

I have already recommended BetterHelp to a lot of my friends and family that have a busy life but still need to have someone to talk to. Lindsay has been more than wonderful and patient helping me work through issues going on. It had been a week since she heard from me, back to school was keeping me busy, and she even took the time to reach out to me to make sure things were going well. Lindsay has been one of the easiest people I have been able to talk to when it came to counseling. She works wonderfully around my school and work schedule to set up appointments. Lindsay has been a big factor in me getting healthy and happy. I love being able to email her any time and she gets back to me with great ideas and questions and strategies. Even though I am doing much better I am going to continue on with Lindsay so I can stay healthy.

Lindsay has been absolutely fantastic since I've been speaking with her. As someone who has done face to face therapy before, I feel like Lindsay has gone above and beyond at times for me. She is incredibly reliable and timely in response. She's also very kind, understanding, encouraging, and supportive without feeling like she's telling you what you want to hear.

Felt like my world was caving in at first, but I finally managed to get help, which so happened to be from BetterHelp. I was a little skeptical at first because I always thought therapy was only for a certain type of person. Lindsay though, she has helped me with more than she knows and she's very good at connecting with people my age. She is very patient, she listens and she doesn't overwhelm you with a bunch of stuff all at once but most of all she listens to what you have to say.

Lindsay is absolutely amazing! I switched to her from a different consular, who was also great, but their style just didn't match mine. Lindsay absolutely does. I'm so glad I found her and she's given me so many coping mechanisms that help as well. Now, I fell comfortable talking to her so I can get feedback, but I also feel confident that I can make it through some of the tougher moments on my own too. When things get really frustrating I often reflect and think "Lindsay's right, I should go journal this." "A quick meditation can help, just breathe." She helped me open doors that I can confidently walk through on my own now.
