Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana with three years of post-graduate experience. I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Indiana University and have more extensive training in motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy as well as being a certified yoga instructor. My work-experience thus far has brought me to be most experienced in working with individuals who struggle with interpersonal traumas, abuse histories, PTSD, depression, anxiety and personality related disorders.
I believe my laid-back and compassionate personality reflect in my treatment approaches. I believe building a strong client-therapist relationship is essential in providing good therapy and take the time to develop this relationship. I commonly use interventions guided by cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness/grounding techniques. Treatment should fit each persons individual needs and I will work with you to develop goals and work to achieve them!

I love my therapist very much. She is understanding and helps me see things I never would have seen before. She is attentive and so nice while also not letting me get away with not being genuine to myself. She is helping me through alot and I greatly appreciate her.

Lindsay is the absolute greatest counselor I’ve ever had. Better help is the best and j tell everyone about it, but Lindsay is what makes it so great. She’s relatable, insightful, really listens and is great at validating my feelings and helping me be constructive. Even when I get too busy to check in she always reaches out.

I was really nervous about starting therapy and had no idea how it works. Lindsay has been brilliant about pulling me out of my privacy mode and getting me to open up. Lindsay has been absolutely instrumental in the support of my mental health. She listens when I just need to vent and gives great advice when I need some direction. Not only does Lindsay take the time to respond to my messages between sessions and make sure I truly feel heard, but she has rarely cancelled/rescheduled a session on me. She always seems prepared, and remembers the things we've discussed, even when something comes up in one session relating to something we last discussed months before.

I have already recommended BetterHelp to a lot of my friends and family that have a busy life but still need to have someone to talk to. Lindsay has been more than wonderful and patient helping me work through issues going on.
