About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota and have a Masters degree from the MN School of Professional Psychology. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups for over 10 years providing therapy, in-home skills work, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My varied experience coupled with my own as a mom has particularly drawn me towards working with pregnant people and parents of children of all ages. I am trained in Positive Discipline and have a passion for providing parenting support for those looking to expand their toolbox of skills. I strongly believe that each parent is doing their very best with the skills they have and I am honored to come alongside you to make your parent-child relationship the most mutually-fulfilling it can be.
Additionally, I have experience and enjoy working with individuals, couples and families of all kinds experiencing a variety of stressors or life changes. This includes working with clients who may have blended families and/or have alternative lifestyles such as polyamory. My approach is often solution-focused and I am skilled in identifying and nurturing the inherent strengths of each person and family. I am gentle but direct in my approach and believe that a good sense of humor is a necessity in therapy and life, in general.
Please note that my availability is generally daytime hours Monday through Thursday. I have very limited evening hours so would be most appropriate for clients who have daytime flexibility.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lindsay Jordan. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I was really nervous about starting therapy but knew I needed help with my anxiety. I feel so lucky that I was matched with Lindsay! She has been so kind and helpful - I can't recommend her enough! My anxiety is already starting to feel less overwhelming from the few sessions I have had and messaging Lindsay in between.
Lindsay is great and I was lucky to be paired with her.
I feel that my therapist is a really great fit for me. She listens to me and finds a way to work with my issues and concerns.
Lindsay is an excellent therapist who is flexible in her techniques, is able to assign homework if that is what you desire, and empathetically listens and challenges when necessary. She has been able to detect missing and important pieces quite well, and it is much appreciated.
I could not recommend a therapist more than Lindsay! She is so comfortable to talk to, she is a great listener, gives great guidance, and checks in regularly. I was ready to give up on therapy since I was not vibing well with my past few therapists but found Lindsay and am so glad I did.
Absolutely amazing! Great listener and awesome in her guidance. Just feels good to talk to!
