Congratulations on making it here! It is extremely brave to ask for help and you're making a huge first step.
My name is Lindsay Lee and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Louisiana and Colorado. My practice has taken me to work with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crime in North Carolina; individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness in Louisiana, young people experiencing trauma and loss in New Orleans schools, military families coping with deployment, professionals struggling with compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress, and most recently providing supervision to new social workers in Colorado. I earned my Master's in Social Work at Tulane University, with a certificate in International Social Work.
Over my ten years of practice in social work I have learned that relationships are central to how we function in the world, Our relationships with our family, friends, co-workers, and educators impact the quality of our lives in important ways. This applies to the counseling relationship too. It is critical that we find the right fit and style that feels comfortable for your needs and your life. It would be a privilege to help you on your journey.

I was very anxious, and emotional when I first sought counselling from Lindsay after experiencing bullying at work, which impacted my emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. I felt, seen, heard, validated, and received guidance that affirmed that I could be healthy and happy, in spite of everything that was happening. Two months later, I am in a new job, with great prospects and my manager and colleagues are great. The trauma from being bullied has significantly, dissipated, each conversation with Lindsay helped significantly, I felt huge shifts and weight being lifted after each session. I no longer need to discuss the bullying, emotionally I have moved past it and on to the rest of my life. There's still a sadness that I have experienced this, but I don't live there. It's a testament to Lindsay that I have experienced a tangible change in such a short period of time.
Lindsay is very open, calm and lets me be the advocate for myself
The ease in talking to Lindsay has being mind blowing. She has understood what seems to go through my head and has been able to help me draw things out at my pace with complete support and understanding, always willing to try something different or offer a few suggestions so I can choose what will work for me better.
She listens, she’s amazing for me
Lindsay is great, helpful, and judgement free. I feel heard and helped when I talk to her.
Lindsey is a sweet, kind and comforting councilor. She provides the space for me to discuss whatever I’m feeling for how ever long. She gives me multiple different things I can do to help myself and my current situations. She responds in a timely manner and checks up on me if she hasn’t heard from me in a few days. She's great.
Lindsay Lee is extremely lovely and not pushy at all. Listens to my concerns and tries to understand me as much as possible.
I like the fact that if she hasn’t heard back from me in a while she won’t send me a thousand messages. Maybe 1 or 2 just to let me know she’s there and that I can reply when I am ready.
Which is great for someone like me as I tend to go into hiding when people send me a lot of messages. It becomes extremely overwhelming very fast.
She’s perfect ❤️
Lindsay is very professional, supportive and capable. I feel completely at ease with her.
