Welcome! The decision to seek out support for a challenging issue in life isn’t always easy, and you’ve taken the first step in seeking out help. Here’s a little bit of information about me to help guide your decision if we are a good fit for one another.

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience providing therapy. I graduated from New Mexico State University and have worked in outpatient clinics, hospitals, and telehealth settings. I’ve worked with people struggling with severe trauma and PTSD as well as anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and relationship problems. My therapeutic style involves creating a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement. I strive to create a space where we can work together to give you the tools and insight to live your best life.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to draw on your strengths and help guide you towards your goals. I specialize in person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

Lisa is so kind and wonderful to talk with. I felt that she was genuinely engaged with me and in helping me work through my issues. She gave me so many good questions to think about and after talking with her I feel so much more confident to face my anxiety in a healthy way.

I haven’t worked with Lisa for too long, but she’s helped me so much already. Without Lisa's help and guidance, I'd still be knocking holes in walls. She helped guide me through some of the most difficult and frustrating times in my life. I still have a lot of work to do, but just having her as a listening ear was helpful beyond measure.

I am glad that I was paired with Lisa because she understands me. The last person I was with seemed like she was not too involved. Lisa is definitely involved. I appreciate all of her advice and I appreciate that she understands where I am coming from and does not question.
