My name is Lisa Arce (Pronouns: She/Her) and I am a licensed therapist located in San Antonio, Texas. I have my Bachelors of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Often times we can find ourselves struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression and self worth. This influences the way we view ourselves and the world around us. Sometimes these thoughts can be distorted and self defeating. I can help you in learning the coping tools you need to navigate these obstacles and challenges. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and trained. I also specialize in helping people align their lives with the person that they want to be. In addition, I work with non traditional couples and consider myself a sex positive therapist.
I understand that seeking professional help can be an intimidating experience. It often takes a brave and vulnerable decision. It also takes self-awareness, work and commitment. My style of counseling is empathetic, non-judgemental and direct. I would be honored to help you begin the journey to living a more authentic life.
