About Me

User friendly and respectful would be the descriptors I start with when giving information about myself. I've worked in the Mental Health field for over 25 years and I've had the opportunity to learn a great deal about what is needed to help others with making difficult changes. I've found that I don't need to have all the answers to be a great therapist but I do have be respectful of where the person is coming from and where they are trying to go. Often, we have an idea of what we need to do to feel happier and more balanced but we get overloaded in chaos. I can help with that burden so you aren't in it alone.

Lisa is great. She really helped me with my relationship with my parents and partner, and gave me insights into myself - which allowed me to see outside of myself and not take things too personally (sometimes it could be the context itself or the person simply might not be good at something). In hindsight, connecting the dots from my sessions with her, I was able to figure out what I truly wanted in my own life, and act on these changes, for myself and in relation to the people around me. Lisa is friendly, supportive and compassionate. She helped me along in navigating my relationships (and my own life within these relationships). She is basically a friend, except you don't have to feel bad about talking about yourself. I enjoyed all my sessions with her. Wishing Lisa the best.

I've been seeing Lisa for just over a month now and she's been so helpful and supportive in helping me manage my anxiety. Friendly, so knowledgeable and extremely easy to talk to, I never come away from our sessions feeling judged or like it's been a drag to work on my issues - for her or myself. Very highly recommended!

Lisa has been very understanding and patient. After I talk with her I feel very stable and I feel clarity in what I should do to make my situations easier. She’s always been open and honest. I was lucky to have her as my very first counselor. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Lisa Fadorsen has a sense a humour that I really like. Her input and suggestions help me better cope and understand situations I'm in. A little confusion as she's in Florida and I'm in Canada so we have to clarify things a lot as we get lost in details when talking. Lisa is flexible in schedule time for talking which his great. Response in a timely manner which really helps when stressed and need advice. Lisa also good at giving worksheets with information on situations that you might be going through. I recommend giving Lisa a try. You won't regret it!

I’ve just started with Lisa but already feel so comfortable with her. My first video call I was nervous but soon as I went on the call, it was like I was speaking to someone I have known for years.
