About me

Hello!

I am a trained clinical social worker with 16 years of experience. My experience is in major hospital systems in New York City, Houston, and New Jersey. Most of my experience involves bringing tranquility, organization, and resolution to very complex and emotional situations. I have interacted with many individuals, using cultural sensitivity to navigate diverse backgrounds.

In my work, I have been involved with hundreds of individuals and families during times of crisis and life changes. My goal is to listen to what is causing stress and offer the support needed to overcome it. I believe that problem-solving is a learned trait, and I hope to offer some tools on how to navigate these situations for a more optimal outcome.

I have traveled to various cities such as Bangkok, Paris, Madrid, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Cancun, Caribbean, London, Amsterdam, San Diego, Chicago, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Orlando, San Francisco, Montreal, Calgary, Banff, Edmonton, and more. During my travels, I mainly focus on learning about the culture and understanding the history of the area and its people.

My passion is to help and coach people to be their best selves!

Written on Jan 11, 2024 after therapy with Lisa for 6 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, grief, eating disorders, self esteem, and compassion fatigue

Lisa really listens to me. And what I really like is that she will tell me things that I may not want to hear but I definitely need to hear. But she’s never harsh or judgmental. I just feel that she wants the best for me and truly wants to help me. Plus, she’s fun to talk to you which makes the whole process so much easier for.

Miss Lisa has been there for me for about 6 months now, and every session she points something out I can improve on. I enjoy talking to her, as she always keeps the mood fairly light, but knows when to transition into seriousness. Would highly recommend!
