Lisa Linger, LMHC
About me
As a licensed therapist in Florida, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a nurse for 15 years, working in emergency and urgent care settings. My professional approach centers on helping clients address challenges like depression, anxiety, and trauma. I'm passionate about helping people better understand the neurobiology of their brains to help them realize they're in more control over their emotions than they realize and can gain the tools they need to regain confidence, joy, and peace in their lives.
My therapeutic practice is rooted in compassionate, evidence-based strategies that honor each person's unique journey. I create a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, learn more about how their brain and nervous system can impact mental health, and cultivate meaningful personal growth, working collaboratively to create effective strategies for moving forward. Whether you're struggling with panic attacks, processing past trauma, or working through family dynamics, I'm committed to walking alongside you with empathy and professional expertise.
My goal is to empower you to discover your inner strengths, build effective coping strategies, and move towards a more balanced, fulfilling life. Together, we'll work collaboratively to understand your experiences and create pathways toward healing and personal transformation.

Lisa is such a great therapist. My situation is quite complex and requires a great deal of cultural competency (South Asian household and structures and religious trauma). I’m learning how to set better boundaries and be happier with myself.

Lisa has done more than help me through these difficult times and without her being my therapist I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so thankful for her and all she’s done for me.
