About me
Life situations and transitions can be challenging at times. My goal as a therapist is to offer a confidential and healthy environment for us to explore your concerns together. I strive to provide quality and compassionate care, meeting you where you are at, and helping you experience insight, growth, and healing. My approach to therapy is very relational. I want to know who you are and what you want from life. My hope is to guide you on the path that leads towards the full life you deserve.
I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, oppositional behaviors, grief and loss, body image concerns as well as relationship issues. I have specialized training and experience with eating disorders and follow the most current evidenced based methods for symptom management. I have completed an intensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma. I also integrate Christian beliefs with client who request this approach.
Once we begin the journey together, we can decide the direction towards healing.

Lisa Stevenson-Allen has been of great help to me. I suffer from chronic pain and depression and she seems to understand the issues I am going through and have advice that is helpful and has made a difference in my life. She is quick to respond and if I mark a request as urgent she responds very quickly to help with a crisis. It has been great to know she is there every day for support.
